Trump Pardons So He Can Watch Us Suffer

Donald “Vomitus” Trump, the apparent choice of millions of Americans in the presidential election, signed a mass pardon for around 1500 convicted persons convicted of felony crimes in the January 6, 2021 violent assault on the Capitol, as the mob attempted to prevent the certification of Joe Biden’s election as president. Trump had urged the mob, in his speech at the Ellipse, to march to the U.S. Capitol, saying he was going too. (He did not, because his security prevented him.) The protestors-turned-terrorists overtook police around the Capitol at 12:53pm, then smashed windows and breached the building at 2:13 pm, but Donald “Feces” Trump simply watched the news on TV, and did not bother to go online or on TV to try to disperse the mob until over 2 hours later than that, at 4:17pm, despite urgent pleas from his staff and family to do so.

Those pardoned, or had their sentence commuted today included:

Enrique Tarrio, one of the Proud Boys’ leaders, who was convicted of playing a central role in the attack on the Capitol. Wasn’t actually present at the Capitol that day, but found guilty of serious seditious crimes leading to its occurrence. He’d been sentenced to 22 years.

Stewart Rhodes, Oath Keepers founder, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison for seditious conspiracy & other crimes.

Michael Joseph Foy, who’d been convicted of some of the most violent crimes of the attack.

Shane Jenkins, also found guilty & convicted of some of the most violent attacks. During the attack, Jenkins was armed with an ax, which he used to help break a Capitol Building window, afterwards urging the mob to enter the building. He also flung a metal flagpole, a metal walking stick, and other projectiles at police. From jail, he sold merchandise bearing mottos indicating his belief that he and the other attackers were political prisoners.

Thomas Webster, a retired NYPD police officer, was also found guilty & convicted of some of the most violent attacks. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for assaulting one of the Capitol police with a metal flagpole. He’d also attacked Metropolitan Police Department officer Noah Rathbun, shoving a metal bike rack at him, and grabbed the officer’s gas mask from him.

George Tanios and Julian Khater assaulted Officer Brian Sicknick (who afterwards collapsed and died) with a chemical spray.

Patrick McCaughey was at the front of a mob that deliberately crushed D.C. Metropolitan police officer Daniel Hodges in a door, in a well-known video clip. The officer, crying out in pain with blood in his mouth, was protecting the door which he believed may have been the last barrier to the mob’s access to the senators and congressmen inside, when a terrorist grabbed his mask and used it to smash his head against the door, then his mask was pulled off, and he was bashed in the head with his own baton. Earlier, he’d been kicked in the chest, knocked down, his radio stolen, tear gassed, sprayed in the face with insecticide, attacked with shields stolen from police.
